What to Expect at Allied Pain Relief Clinics, Inc
Your Niles Chiropractic Staff Care About You
- Our warm, friendly staff will greet you.
- We will respect your time and keep things running as smoothly and on-time as possible.
- Dr. C and his team are always available to answer your questions.
Although some paperwork is unavoidable, we’ll try to make the process as easy and streamlined as possible and we are happy to help you through the process in the office.
For your first visit, you’ll want to bring your Insurance information and Drivers License, recent X-rays, MRIs or other medical reports. Dr. C may not go over those reports at the initial visit, a follow up visit may have to be scheduled. For Personal Injury, please bring your Automobile accident report, Your auto insurance information as well as the At-fault’s Insurance information. For Workers Compensation, please let us know if a First Report of Injury was completed at work, we may have additional paperwork for you to fill out once you arrive. We will take over the case and follow through with the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation.
Your First Visit with Dr. C
As you might expect, your first visit will be a little different from your other visits. There are the usual administrative details that we have to address, but we try to make that part as painless as possible. Then we get to the fun stuff – getting to know each other and embarking on your journey to wellness. This first visit is about “putting everything together.” We want to hear what it is that concerns you and talk about how we might be able to address it.
You can expect that your first visit might go something like this:
- I’ll take a history to learn more about you and your prior health, including any injuries.
- We’ll talk about your current health and what brings you to my office.
- I’ll do a full examination, including sending you for X-rays, if needed.
If you’re a good candidate for chiropractic care, I’ll offer you your first treatment. If X-rays are needed, I will write a script for them and ask that you go as soon as possible. Upon receiving the report of your X-rays, I will give you a full and detailed report of findings at your next visit.
Your “New Patient” visit should last anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes. All subsequent visits should be approximately 15-20 minutes.
The Big Picture
You and I will meet to discuss your health concerns and what I see as your options for improving the way you feel. I’ll have anatomical charts and other information to help you follow along.
Typically, your options include:
- Chiropractic
- Massotherapy
- Physical therapy (we may send you to a local Physical Therapy facility or if you have one specifically you prefer)
- Therapeutic Exercise
Our clinic offers all the above options for care under one roof. We’ll review my suggestions and finalize your care plan. If you’re interested in moving forward with chiropractic, you’ll have your first treatment.
You’ll also have the opportunity to talk with our patient liaison, who will discuss your personalized care plan. You’ll talk about how often you’ll come in and what it will cost, including any deductibles or co-pays and whether Massotherapy is included in your benefits. You’ll have all the information you’ll need, right up front before you leave.
We Respect Your Time
We try to keep your future visits right around 15 to 20 minutes, including any therapies you receive. You’ll come in for your therapy, I’ll give you your adjustment, and then you’re back to the front desk to check out and schedule your next appointment and pay and co-pays you may have.
Another way that we try to help you save time is to do bulk scheduling from the beginning. You can lock in the time that works best for you and have the ease of having your appointments already on the schedule. We offer real-time texting, that allows you to text with one of our staff members to reschedule your appointment or ask any questions you may have.
We’d love to show you all we have to offer. Come see us or give us a call at (330) 652-4222.
